About Paige
I am an art teacher, as well as a graphic designer, motion graphic artist, and animator. I received my bachelor's from Emerson College in Visual Media Arts Production, and my masters from the Academy of Art in San Francisco.
I started out as a graphic designer, then fell into animation, then discovered the best of both worlds in motion graphics. I worked as a PA in LA, and have switched to freelance in the last two years.
I discovered that I loved being a teacher when I took a trip to Greece and volunteered in the refugee camps teaching low-tech art lessons. Since then, I've taught video, photography and art at public high schools in San Francisco.
My favorite class that I've taught so far is the CTE Filmmaking course at Galileo High School - I introduced new students to video production and helped experienced students write, direct, film, and edit their own short movies for a local indie film festival. It's amazing to watch how creative students are!
